Phil Saettele

PRESIDENT

Company/ Position: Business Director for BJC HealthCare’s Planning, Design & Construction Department

Why I joined Red Shoe: I was looking for an opportunity to give back to the St. Louis area and meet other young professionals, and my sister and brother-in-law, who are very involved with RSS, recommended it to me.

On the weekend, you can find me: Spending time downtown, running and walking in the Clayton area.

Favorite place in St. Louis: Downtown Clayton and Enterprise Center for Blues games.

An interesting fact about myself: I was obsessed with dinosaurs as a little kid and was a featured guest on KMOX Radio three times to talk with famous dinosaur scientists.

Caroline Krupp

TREASURER

Company/Position: Panera Bread – Development, Special Projects Coordinator

Why I joined Red Shoe: I was really involved in my high school’s Outreach Program and my college’s Service Fraternity. After graduating college, it was important for me to find a volunteer group that was welcoming and also was supporting a local charity. I found that in Red Shoe. The Ronald McDonald’s House Mission Statement really stuck with me and made me excited to help make a difference with this group.

On the weekend, you can find me: Hanging out with friends and family, trying new local restaurants, or enjoying the outdoors.

Favorite Place in St. Louis:  Forest Park, the greatest park in the world, or Enterprise Center for Blues games and concerts.

An interesting fact about myself: I studied abroad in Florence, Italy and love to travel. I also am really good at pop culture trivia.

Joe Nonnenkamp

Why I joined Red Shoe: To make new friends, get involved in the community and support a great organization.

On the weekend, you can find me: At a concert or ball game

Favorite place in St. Louis: Forest Park

An interesting fact about myself: I have seen Billy Joel 30 times and have tickets for concerts 31 and 32!

Kayla Drury

SERVICE CHAIR

Company/Position: DDI Media – Account Executive

Why I joined Red Shoe: I joined Red Shoe for many reasons, but the one that helped convince me to join is the place in the Mission Statement which positively states that this organization provides a “home away from home.” The community RMDH has created for anyone and everyone that walks in is truly inspiring. I love seeing and putting smiles on people’s faces, making kids laugh, and caring for families.

On the weekend, you can find me: Hanging with family and friends!

Favorite place in St. Louis: Ohh, this is a tough question! Elevated Performance (my gym), Louis Wine Dive, Parkers Table, Busch Stadium for Cards games and Enterprise Center for Blues….others too, but can’t name them all.

An interesting fact about myself: I sometimes snort when I laugh 🙂

Erin Nelson

DEVELOPMENT CHAIR

Company/Position: Edward Jones – Financial Advisor

Why I joined Red Shoe: I was looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in Saint Louis. I was already familiar with Ronald McDonald, as I volunteered at the house in high school and college.

On the weekend, you can find me: Spending time with my husband and friends, running in Forest Park, walking our French bulldog, Frank, or trying new restaurants in the area!

Favorite place in St. Louis: Forest Park especially during the Fall.

An interesting fact about myself: My husband and I both played basketball at Saint Louis University, he proposed in the center of Chaifetz, and the Billiken was at our wedding!

Anna Lamb

SOCIAL / MEMBERSHIP CHAIR

Company/Position: Immunology at AbbVie – Associate Director, Global Market Analytics and Business Intelligence

Why I joined Red Shoe: I was looking for a way to meet new people and get more involved in the community helping support families in need. Red Shoe was the perfect fit!

On the weekend, you can find me: Taking walks in Forest Park or hikes around the St. Louis area with my husband and our dog, cooking a new recipe, or trying a new local restaurant.

Favorite place in St. Louis: I love our neighborhood – Demun, in Clayton. The community we’ve gotten to know in the neighborhood is great, and you cannot beat the proximity to just about everything in St. Louis. We love being able to walk to a variety of bars and restaurants, Forest Park in any season, and hopping across the street for a bottle of wine and baguette from Parker’s Table.

An interesting fact about myself: I label and date almost everything I open in my fridge and freezer – I spent almost a decade working in a laboratory and old habits die hard! But there is never a question when it’s time for something to move to the trash.

Angela Hinck

Company/Position: ACERTUS – Marketing Manager

Why I joined Red Shoe: My family benefitted from RMHC when I was young and I’ve always looked for a way to give back. When I moved to St. Louis and learned about Red Shoe, I jumped at the opportunity to get involved!

On the weekend, you can find me: Spending time with friends and family, walking through Clayton, or trying new restaurants.

Favorite place in St. Louis: Forest Park! I love walking the trails or lounging on Art Hill with a good book.

An interesting fact about myself: I love to travel and explore new places; I’ve been to 7+ countries so far but have a long running list of places to visit.
