RMHC St. Louis COVID-19 information

A statement from Dan Harbaugh, RMHC St. Louis President:

2022 Update

As we make our way back to “normal” at Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, the priority continues to be providing a space of comfort and care to families of seriously ill children. We have learned a lot about our staff, volunteers, supporters, guest families, and community members in the past two years. Most importantly, when something is needed at Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, our friends and neighbors make sure it gets done.

The team at RMHC St. Louis will continue to pivot services for programs as needed. Here are a few items we want to mention that are being continuously monitored in 2022:

  • Our Meals from the Heart program has returned on a limited basis with strict safety guidelines. Learn more at rmhcstl.com/meals
  • The three St. Louis area Ronald McDonald Family Rooms continue to support families at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and Mercy Children’s Hospital. Our Ronald McDonald Family Room team is collaborating with hospital partners to allow families to access our unique spaces on a limited basis
  • The Ronald McDonald House program continues to provide safe and clean spaces for guest families. Our current policies in St. Louis are created based on recommendations from RMHC Global and Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. It is not our policy for guest families, including children, to be vaccinated to stay at a St. Louis area Ronald McDonald House.
  • We look forward to celebrating with all our friends and supporters at our 2022 Special Events. Learn more about these at rmhcstl.com/events

While we have made significant progress towards getting back to regular operation, we continue to monitor the pandemic and follow guidance and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), RMHC Global, local and state health departments, and local hospital partners.

We are incredibly grateful for the positive response from community members, like you, in such challenging times. Your support allows us to keep our guest families’ health and well-being at the forefront of every decision.

Always grateful,
