Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis hosts a number of special fundraising events throughout the year. Besides having fun, you’ll be helping families stay close to their seriously ill children.
TAB TOP PROGRAM
The tab top program invites people of all ages to collect aluminum tabs from beverage cans to support The House That Love Built! Thanks to our friends at Didion Orf Recycling, the tabs are recycled and turned into a monetary donation to RMHC St. Louis. Annually, these little tabs help generate almost $25,000 thanks to the generosity of the St. Louis Community!
Tab Top Pandemonium is an annual event celebrating our tab top collectors. Save the date for this year’s event, taking place on Saturday, May 6, 2017!
Don’t have tabs but still want to help? Collect and donate your unused keys to one of our Houses through our Keys to the Heart Program. When you donate the keys you no longer need, you open doors for families with seriously ill children. (Please note that keys must be kept separate from tabs when collections are turned in.)
How You Can Get Involved
1. FIND A CONTAINER
You can collect tab tops in anything! Collect your stash in bottles, boxes or other creative containers. Help us “go green” by downloading and printing a wrap for your containers. Download and print a 4 x 8 in or 8 x 14 in wrap. A limited supply of collection houses are also available through RMHC.
2. START COLLECTING
Gather all your aluminum tab tops! Ask family, friends, community organizations or local restaurants for help, too.
3. TURN IN YOUR COLLECTION
Drop off your tabs at any of our three Ronald McDonald Houses during regular business hours, 9am-6pm, or call 314.773.1100 to set up a drop-off time.
